Consumer testimonials are one of our most authentic, engaging, and credible ways to illustrate to audiences how Byte can do more for you than just straighten and whiten your teeth. The true stories we hear from our consumers about their ‘why,’ or reasons for choosing Byte, can resonate with new audiences on a deep, meaningful level.
For these videos, we interviewed two real consumers that have completed their confidence journey with Byte and dive deeper into each of their personal stories that represent a range of narratives—from empowerment and confidence, transformation and oral health and wellness, to self-care, and events/milestones. As each consumer tells their story, we learn how choosing Byte was a clear choice and how the results they achieved changed their lives.

Byte clear aligners don’t just straighten your teeth, they open you up to possibilities that may have previously seemed impossible. Having an important conversation with family, taking a chance to do something different, believing in yourself again, putting yourself first for a change—all become a reality when you align with confidence.
In Byte’s first-ever omnichannel campaign, we drew inspiration from actual consumer testimonials and showed our audiences how Byte is so much more than just straight, white teeth. To craft the campaign, we completed a library photo shoot of product and lifestyle imagery and shot Byte’s first national commercial with four narratives illustrating our primary value proposition of how when you choose to align your teeth with Byte you’re also choosing to align with confidence, being authentically you, taking chances, knowing your worth, setting boundaries, and so much more.

As part of a comprehensive rebrand, we partnered with Hype Type Studio for the logo creation of Therabody—the new parent company to Theragun and TheraOne CBD. My partner and I oversaw the creative agency RFP outreach and awarding process, briefing, development, finalization, and delivery of a new logo marque and custom logotype.
To distinguish and complement the equity of the highly-visible Theragun brand, while also being mindful of the equity we were building around the new TheraOne brand, our brief was to explore custom logotype directions that felt very humanist in their letterform construction. If Theragun—with its all bold, all-caps sans serif logotype—represents our percussive therapy branch, and TheraOne—with its highly-editorial, progressive serif logotype—represents our USDA Certified Organic CBD branch, Therabody as a parent company needed to embrace and represent both of these qualities, while positioning itself as a leader in the tech wellness space. With these aspects in mind, Hype Type Studio created a stunning logotype that is very much grounded in humanist letterform origins—elegant proportions, thoughtful contrast, with a hand-crafted feel—while further making the logotype unique and ownable with the addition of sharp, angled terminals throughout the letterforms.
In addition to the custom logotype, we developed the Therabody marque which symbolizes a “T” for Therabody, and the iconic “Vitruvian Man” visual—a graphic representation of the human body in perfect harmony and balance.

To announce the launch and rebrand of Theragun becoming Therabody, my creative partner and I wrote and oversaw all pre-production [treatment, scripting, casting, styling/wardrobe], production [on-set supervision], and post-production [hero edit and cutdowns], of a hero brand anthem video—”Therabody: The New Wave.”
Our brief was to strategically and seamlessly showcase real-world use-case scenarios of Therabody’s full product offering from Theragun and TheraOne [CBD line], across a variety of demographics, while positioning Therabody as a leading tech wellness lifestyle brand. The video’s narrative and subsequent capture was created with brand and product-specific cutdowns in mind, that would allow us to create mini-vignettes to be used on Therabody.com’s landing page, product landing pages, and global social channels.

For the Lexus Golden Opportunity Sales Event, we created three :30 spots that highlighted each brand pillar—Performance, Technology, and Craftsmanship. Through the notion of Alchemy—transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary—we distilled the Lexus approach down to a simple truth: only Lexus can take raw materials and transform them into an emotional experience.

After months of development, we created a signature brand look and feel for Lexus USA that would permeate every brand touchpoint—print, OOH, digital, video, end frames, events, and more. The brief was to create something premium, unique, timeless, and most importantly, flexible. Once we achieved the final result and implemented the new brand guidelines, Lexus International subsequently adopted the system and requested we with work with them to launch the new look worldwide.

As new video functionality was being integrated into the homepage of lexus.com, an opportunity to further create engaging brand content was born. The homepage grid would now allow hover states to play videos as the user interacted with the various product tiles. To promote the RC F performance coupe, I collaborated with Photographer / Director Nicholas Maggio to create the “Zero Light” video.

A few years ago, Lexus set out to create a new dealership initiative that would revolutionize the way consumers shop for and purchase their cars. The goal was to completely alter the dealership paradigm by removing the stress of haggling and constantly being handed-off to multiple associates. Instead, each consumer at a Lexus Plus dealership will get one upfront price, and one consultant—always.
From naming and logo design, to art directing photography library assets and webpage design, we were involved in the creation of nearly every aspect and touchpoint of this program alongside the participating dealerships.

In an effort to begin creating more robust and informational video content for Lexus, we collaborated with Director Pascal Heiduk to create a long-form “video brochure” for the IS that would live on YouTube and Lexus.com. With two shoot days, two units, and a dozen locations we ended up with a 5:00 video brochure, hours of b-roll, hundreds of static BTS photos, and a bonus Director’s Cut brand mood video.

Team One’s new logo and comprehensive rebranding effort coincided with the agency moving into a new headquarters office located in Playa Vista, CA. The goal in rebranding the agency ourselves was to carefully explore, distill, and craft the essence of not only what we do as an advertising agency, but to also express and celebrate the diversity of disciplines, and our approach to “launching the remarkable.”

In an effort to create and curate a new form of brand content, we created a multi-issue collateral piece that became a success with dealerships and customers across the US. “The Line” offered an inside look into the essence of the Lexus brand and product offering by showcasing a variety of rich and compelling stories primarily rooted in the areas of performance, technology, and design. The Line’s refined and highly-editorial tone, utilizes beautiful photography, eclectic illustrations, and abstract CG art.
